SpaceX Raptor 3 Rocket Engine

A high poly 3D model of SpaceX's Raptor 3 Engine created with the absolute closest detail possible to reference material. This model was created with fully PBR materials in Blender 4.3. It took around 40 hours to complete in its entirety. The Raptor 3 engine is a beautiful feat of human engineering. Hosting 37 Raptor engines on the Starship rocket, this engine is designed to be more powerful, lighter, and more efficient than its predecessor, the Raptor 2. It has a thrust-to-weight ratio of 183.6, a dry mass of 1,525 kg (3,362 lb), and can generate 280 tons of thrust at sea level and 298 tons in vacuum conditions. SpaceX has been using advanced manufacturing technologies, including metal additive manufacturing, to simplify the design of the Raptor 3 engine, consolidating and optimizing parts.
